About Meg Perkins

Meg grew up in Indiana where she developed a love for dance and movement at a young age.  She attended Purdue University and was a member of the nationally ranked dance team for 3 years.  After graduating, she moved to Nashville in 2015 and began her career in healthcare.  Her passion for group-based fitness was reignited when she became a member of the FreeBird Tribe.  The energy, inspiration, and feeling of community here has allowed her to become the healthiest version of herself & has translated into her daily life outside the studio. Her vision is to keep growing and challenging herself & others to meet their personal goals.

What did you want to be when you grew up:  A cast member on Saturday Night Live; I loved staying up late to watch it with my family.

Favorite music artist that pushes you hard during your workout:  Some good throwback hip hop!

Favorite healthy snack:  Apples & peanut butter
