Meghan started consistently practicing yoga in May 2013 and never looked back. She quickly learned that when she showed up for yoga on my mat, it showed up everywhere else in her life. There is a concept in yoga called sthira sukha, and it refers to exerting effort versus ease; stress versus surrender. This idea became a saving grace. It allowed her to recognize areas her life where she needed to find a new edge and areas in which she needed to let go. Yoga created a quality of spaciousness where before there was reactivity, and it was building strength, flexibility, and joy. Meghan soon decided that she needed to share this workout that mattered with other people. She completed the Baptiste Art of Assisting course, began volunteering with a local non-profit, and graduated from emPower’s teacher training program. Meghan is so excited to see what this season of life brings and to share it with all of you!
