Sloan Hines is originally from San Rafael, California. She grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee where she practiced yoga from a young age, did gymnastics and ran track in high school. She then moved to Nashville in 2014 to attend Belmont University. Ever since living in Nashville, she has been inspired to pursue her passions for music, photography, fitness, food, nature, and growing in her faith & spirituality. Sloan was always up for a workout, weather it was Hot Power Yoga, kickboxing, spin, swimming or jogging. Through all of these types of exercises, she developed a deep love for Power Yoga. On her yoga mat, she experienced powerful breakthroughs within her mind, body & spirit. She felt compelled to become a yoga teacher with the intention to empower & transform her students from the inside out.
When Sloan first walked through the doors of Freebird in January of 2020, she was immediately welcomed and overjoyed with studio and the community. Everyone is always so uplifting and radiant with vitality. She thought, “I want to be a part of this.”
Sloan is now an enthusiastic yoga instructor certified in 200hr RYT. In Sloan’s class, look forward to having fun, challenging yourself and diving deeper into what your practice has for you. She is eager to encourage you to embody your most powerful self through each pose, each breath & each practice.
